Join us for a free workshop at the Paul Laurence Dunbar High School Library at 6pm on October 24, 2019 to learn what you need to know BEFORE your student applies to college.
The workshop is open to all Dunbar Families and their Guests with 9th - 11th graders.
For every family that attends the workshop, a $25 donation will be made to Friends of MSTC.
Our FREE College Planning workshop will discuss the FAFSA form and all the other information you need to understand in order to maximize the amount of financial aid you are eligible to receive and minimize your dependence on education loans!
Even if your family isn’t eligible for need-based aid, we will cover the best strategies on how to pay for college in the most cost effective basis – without it putting a strain on the rest of your finances.
What you will learn:
...in empowering families with the knowledge and tools they need to approach their children's college years with confidence. Too many people hope for scholarships or rely on loans AFTER their child has been accepted to a school. I believe it is better to KNOW you can afford the bill BEFORE the application goes in the mail.
This puts you in charge of how much you are going to spend, not the colleges. I want you to have the peace of mind that your family WILL NOT to be another statistic in the student loan crisis.
